I was using an antiquated, MS-Access based logbook that had long worn out its usefulness, and any of my attempts to translate into a modern digital logbook failed. AcuLog completed fixed it, uploaded to the ForeFlight Logbook I had decided to use, and the numbers worked out perfectly. WELL worth the small investment for the professionals at AcuLog to get it right.

Luckily, I only had 13 pages to transfer. I recently started flight instructing and knew it was going to get out of hand fast. The process was easy and fast. They sent the files to LogTen, which syncs with FSP, so each of my flights gets moved into my logbook with a single click. It was such an easy way to do it, and it was very affordable to have AcuLog transfer my logbook. Highly recommend, don't sit on your hands, get it done.

 

I had 2 paper logbooks dating back to 1999. Accompanying those, I had 14 years of 121 flying in a myriad of Excel spreadsheets, Flica annual reports and FC VIEW logs. I knew I was in over my head. Aculog rocks! I was not sure I could digitize my logs but Aculog make the process relatively easy and pleasant. I had four log books going back to 1968. Different formats, different writing styles, etc. Christen was incredible. Not only was the spreadsheet that she created complete and accurate, but she identified numerous inconsistencies, bad dates, incorrect entries, corrected airport identifiers, etc. She also suggested a couple of changes where I had not correctly followed the regs on logging of certain types of flying. That is, she is not just a data transcriber, but a professional who understands flying and FAA regulations. I agree with all the positive comments and kudos below. Now that I have I gone through the process and seen the kinds of summaries and information I can access through Foreflight, I could not be more pleased. This is one of the best flying investments I have made in a long time. Christen seemed more like a colleague trying to help me get the job done right and efficiently, rather than a business representative. The exported csv files and spreadsheets were much more complicated than I thought which is how I found aculog. I don't write reviews very often but Aculog went above and beyond to get my logbook audited and converted from paper! The customer service and professionalism was amazing. If you are considering using them you will not be disappointed. They saved me countless hours of having to do this myself and did a better job than I could have. Also when I began the import process with LogTen Aculog was there to help out until the project was 100% complete even after final payment.

 

Christen is a true professional. The platform I was currently working with had a very difficult import protocol but she took the time to help me configure everything for a proper import. At the end of the day, the system from my current platform had trouble handling the data because the sheer amount of it was more than it was designed to handle. This took Aculog / AKA Christen numerous calls and interactions to ascertain as she kept trying to make it work. In the end, she provided me with several options, including recommendations of other products, one of which I ultimately decided to move forward with. In the end, the product she recommended far surpassed what I was using and she was even able to provide a promotional code for a few 120 day trial. When I first started looking for a logbook conversion company, a friend of mine recommended Aculog. On my first inquiry, I learned that there was a several month wait for logbooks to be processed. After going through the entire process though, I found that the old cliche help true, Some things are simply worth the wait.

Well worth the money. I had about 3 years worth of paper logs that needed to be imported to ForeFlight and they did it faster and more accurately than I could have. They caught multiple math errors in my logs and delivered a seamless import file, with an easy scan process and clear communication. I got an invite to interview late on a Friday. I was on a trip and didn't get home until Sunday night. I still had 5 years of my logbook which needed to be transcribed into my electronic logbook. Don't waste your time looking for other knock off log book services! Aculog is by far and away the best all around product. I was on a tight time crunch for a fast approaching interview date and Christen made it happen despite being super busy, and even expedited my project, completing the transcription with plenty of time to spare and putting my mind at ease. She is also super knowledgable in how to format the entries correctly to work with pre existing electronic log books (even MCC which is arguably the least intuitive software out there).
